Parmigianino is the main artist in this room; exponent of Emilian painting of the sixteenth century, his most famous work is the Madonna of the Long Neck, pervaded by a very elegant style and a rather complex symbology.
Due to the work in progress, this room is currently closed to the public and the artworks has been transferred in the new rooms.
