Inside it preserves an extraordinary floor mosaic with geometric decorations and a beautiful peacock. Baptistery: dedicated to San Giovanni, patron Saint of the city of Florence, this magnificent octagonal baptistery houses a beautiful mosaic decoration that covers the entire dome, depicting Christ and the Last Judgment, as well as stories of Genesis, Christ, Giuseppe and San Giovanni Battista. Bell tower: started by Giotto in 1334, this square-based bell tower is more than 80 meters high and with its white, red and green marbles represents strength and stability.
