Assembled in this room are archaeological pieces in marble, most of which come from Rome.
Many of them are reliefs that are casts of those on the Ara Pacis (Altar of Augustan Peace); others, of remarkable quality, are the Temple of Vesta and the Scene of Sacrifice originating from a 2nd century Hadrian frieze.
In addition, there is a sarcophagus with the Labours of Hercules, in which he is illustrated at various ages, recalling those periods of his life.
