Contini Bonacossi Collection

It comprises an exceptional collection of works acquired by Contini Bonacossi and his wife in the early 20th century and donated to the Gallery in 1969.

The paintings include works by artists such as Andrea del Castagno and Giovanni Bellini, as well as majolica, Robbiani coats of arms, furniture and sculptures, among which is the outstanding Saint Lawrence by Bernini.

Set in the right wing of the portico, it is currently closed to the public.
